Objectives
- To plan, implement, monitor and evaluate community development projects that promote, encourage, assist and foster social, cultural, and economic development of communities in Sri Lanka.
- To advocate and lobby the rights of the marginalized, especially children, youths and women, and ensure equal opportunities and resource sharing processes for them.
- To create a better future for children, youths, women and families by enhancing the knowledge of all stakeholders on human rights.
- To promote, develop and upgrade the skills of individual community members.
- To facilitate village, divisional, district and provincial level non-governmental organizations to perform their child, youth and women development activities by way of systematic and effective manner.
- To promote and foster ideas of self-reliance, self-organization and collective efforts amongst the youths and women to overcome unemployment and poverty
- To act as a micro finance organization for village district and provincial level to cater the financial needs of youth and women in economic development efforts.
- To develop savings habits, entrepreneurship skills and technical skills of youths and women to uplift their economic status.
- To build strong relationships with the Government, Local & International Non-Governmental & Privet Sector Institutions to address the needs of children, youth and women.
- To promote sustainable development processes while conserving the natural resource management process and balance of the ecosystems.
